If a player plays two hands, wins one hand and loses the other, he/she would almost always be on a lower psychological plane rather than a player who played neither hand. People’s emotions are usually stronger when they lose money rather than winning money. Feelings of regret and disappointment. Going over decisions that you should have made, so that you had won instead. It is a common fact that players want to ‘get even’ when they have lost four or five. People may risk their entire fortune just for the opportunity to win back those lost bets. Bluffing is the act of earning with personal bravado some economic value that you were not able to earn with the objective resources of your cards. Winning at poker is all about revenue streams, a few big ones and, numerous small ones. Bluffing is an excellent because it is, or ought to be, one of your diversified revenue streams.
